Shirley J. Howe, 74, was surrounded by her family when she went home to be with the Lord December 23, 2017. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Louise Touchatt. She is survived by her soulmate of 28 years, Jerry Boyd; her brothers, Gale W. (Kathy) Touchatt, Robert L. (Lori) Touchatt; and sister, Sharon K. Ward of Delaware. She has 5 nephews, 1 niece, 9 great nieces and 4 great nephews. Shirley was a retired employee of Hormel, she loved sunflowers, traveling, taking pictures, and tending to her flower gardens. Viewing is Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 6-8 p.m and funeral service Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11:00 am, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
