Liao, Shu Ying, 78, of Wichita, Kansas passed away Thurs. Jan. 7, 2016 in Houston, TX. Shu Ying was born on Aug. 27, 1937 in Fujian, China. Shu Ying and Guang Di Zhuang were united in marriage in 1962. Together they celebrated 30 years of marriage before his passing in Nov. of 1991. Shu Ying retired as a professor of architecture from Tongji University in Shanghai, China. She enjoyed reading, gardening and helping the environment by recycling. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wichita. She will be preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2 brothers. She is survived by son Xiao Feng Zhuang of Wichita, son Xiao De Zhuang of Sydney, Australia, sister, 2 brothers, grandchildren, Ryan Zhuang and Betty Zhuang. Private family services will be held. Inurnment was held at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita.
