Sister Marilyn Rupp

Wichita, Kansas - Sr. Marilyn Rupp, ASC, passed away on July 14, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 98. She was born on May 13, 1928, in Hays, Kansas, to the late Ignatius J. and Mary K. (Wolf) Rupp.

On July 1, 1946, Sr. Marilyn professed her first vows as a member of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ (ASC). She worked as an educator in primary and intermediate grades and was a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Sr. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Glenna Lewis, Anita Gilmore, Mary Rupp, and Edwarda Rupp; and her brothers John Rupp, Brian Rupp, and two brothers named Roger Rupp (one passing in infancy). She is survived by her brother Tim Rupp and his wife Terri of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved Sisters of the ASC Community.

Services for Sr. Marilyn will be held at the Chapel of the Woman of the New Covenant at the Adorers of the Blood of Christ Wichita Center, located at 1165 Southwest Blvd., Wichita, Kansas. The schedule is as follows: Welcoming on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM; Wake Service on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 6:30 PM; and Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 10:30 AM.

A memorial fund has been established for the retirement of Sisters of the ASC Community. Contributions may be sent to 1165 Southwest Blvd., Wichita, KS 67213.
