Skyler has always been a bit of a dare devil, and that spirit was clear by the age of two. His grandmother recounted a story that became family legend and gave him the nickname that stayed with him for the rest of his life: “When Sky was 2 they shared our home. Well… we have stairs and he had a plastic bike. One day while me and Andrea were at home alone with him and he took his bike on a ride down the stairs. Laughing with glee as he descended the stairs. He ended up on his back and that’s when he began to cry! Mr Dare Devil Dan was what I called him from that day on!” In the years that followed, Sky remained true to that early boldness—drawn to challenge, motion, and the thrill of testing limits.
Sky’s working life included time with PSE Contractors. Beyond work, his interests reflected the same spirited drive and love of action: skateboarding, gaming, urban climbing, fishing, and sports. Whether focused and competitive or simply enjoying time in the moment, Sky brought intensity and presence to what he loved.
