Ferguson, Sonya, 91, peacefully passed away to join her heavenly family on June 12, 2015. She was a member of Goddard Women’s Club, S.A.S., the former owner of The Wallpaper Store, and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Sonya was preceded in death by: parents, Solomon Riden and Mary Gall; husband, Dr. Richard M. Ferguson, and sisters, Lillian Henderson and Ruth Thompson. She is survived by: son, Ken (Laura) Ferguson; daughter, Carol Ferguson of Wellington, KS; brother, Joe Riden of La Grange Park, IL; sister, Ethel Orrill of Calhoun, GA; grandchildren, Kelli (Chad) McKinney, Kyle (Kathy) Ferguson, and Erik Ferguson; and great grandchildren, Corinth Ferguson, Noah Ferguson, and Klayton McKinney. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 1:00 PM, with visitation Sunday, June 14 from 5-7, both at Resthaven Mortuary.
