Stacey Prier, age 53, passed away June 22, 2021. She was born on August 12, 1967 to Ronald Hampton and Lynda Hitt in Wichita, Kansas. Stacey was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, aunt, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.
Stacey loved spending time with her family, watching movies and loved making every event special for her family. She loved taking care of all animals and was very invested in her grandkids. Stacey was a kind, loving person but at times could be a force to be reckoned with.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wilmeth & Etta Mae Hampton and Leonard & Thelma Hitt; step-mother, Dixie Hampton; and father, Ronald Hampton.
Stacey is survived by her husband of 24 years, Doug Prier; children, Sarah Martin, Samantha Antonelli, Nicholas Prier, Elizabeth Prier and Erika Prier; siblings, Christina Dolley, Mike Hampton, Ronnie Hampton, Stephanie Williams, Becky Engels, Jason Balman, Jerry Balman, Shara Burkett-Woodruff and Cade Burkett; grandchildren, Jamie Cody, Dorothy Rizzo, Travis Jones, Riley Jones, Tyson Jones, Trenton Jones, Tucker Jones and Cadence Chavez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A come and go visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday, June 29th, with Funeral service being held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 30th, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Stacey's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
