Stanley L. Carlton

Carlton, Stanley Lynn (Stan) 83, was born on October 29, 1935 to Robert and Lyda Belle (Billinger) Carlton in Wichita, KS, and passed away peacefully on December 30, 2018 in Wichita. He graduated from Wichita East High in 1953. He then attended OU where he was a part of the fraternity Alpha Sigma Phi. He also attended WSU and graduated in 1959. Stan served in the Air Force Reserves for six years. He married Linda Baker on November 22, 1975 at St. Jude Catholic Church. His family church where he attended was East Heights United Methodist Church. He retired from Beechcraft, where he worked as a supervisor, after 41 years. He had a love of cars and airplanes. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Donna Carlton of Maryland. He is survived by his wife, son Paul (Carol) Carlton of Milliken, CO; daughter, Jenny (Jason) Spurgeon of Wichita; and 5 grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to East Height United Methodist Church.
