Teresa Marie Duvall

Teresa was a 1965 graduate of North High School in Wichita, KS, and spent a few years at Friends University. Her life reflected steady dedication and a quiet strength.

Over the years, Teresa worked a variety of jobs, including the nursery at First United Church in Wichita and Gerbes supermarket, before finding her place at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center. There, she served for 19 years before retiring, leaving behind a legacy of reliability and heartfelt service in work that mattered deeply to many.

Teresa’s life was also shaped by the love and complexity of family. She married Kenneth McDonald in 1976 in Wichita, KS, and they were married for 24 years until 2000. In May of 2001, she married Gary Duvall in Columbia, MO, and remained married until his passing in November of 2001.

In quieter moments, Teresa found comfort and joy in crocheting and reading—simple pleasures that spoke to her patience, thoughtfulness, and the gentle steadiness she carried into the lives of those around her.

Teresa is survived by her brother, Byron LeClerc (Teresa); her sister, Jacquelyn LeClerc; her daughter, Tonya LeClerc - Spurgeon (Eric); her grandsons, Derek LeClerc, Jarek Spurgeon, and Merric Spurgeon; and her special friend, Charles Shawver. Nephews Hal Werner (Caroline), Will Werner, Alex LeClerc, Thomas LeClerc and niece Grace LeClerc (Hunter).

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, William LeClerc; her mother, Evelyn LeClerc; her sister, Marilyn Cumberland; her husband, Gary Duvall; her daughter, Kimberly LeClerc; and her daughter, Jessica McDonald and niece Caitlyn LeClerc.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209, on May 27, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

A Funeral Service will follow at Resthaven Mortuary on May 27, 2026, at 10:00 am.

A Committal Service will take place after the funeral at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209, on May 27, 2026.
