Terry was a well-known carpenter throughout the Wichita area. He was an avid car fan, where he worked and re-stored two of his favorite vehicles, which were his 1928 Dodge Victory 6 & his 1969 Mustang Fastback. His biggest joy was to be with his grandkids and following them in their sports activities.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Leon and Patricia Fortine; along with his brothers, Skip and Rex Fortine.
He is survived by: his loving wife of 44 years, Tina Mae Fortine; his children, Adam, Derek (Amber), and Travis; his grandchildren, Lena (Matthew) Kenney, Anneabella Fortine, Lillyen Fortine, Ruby Fortine, Molly Shell, and Ashlee Fortine; his sisters, Kimbray (Don) Nunnold and Kathryn (Mark) Galliart.
Public Visitation & Viewing will be held from 5:00 PM ~ 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 6, 2026; Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM on Friday, August 7, 2026, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Gospels, Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Terry's name has been established with: Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 South Market Street, Wichita, Kansas 67202.
