Terry Lee Ives

Terry Lee Ives, 68, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026. He was born on April 7, 1958, and lived a life filled with love for his family, friends, faith, and the many activities that brought him joy.

On July 10, 1993, Terry married the love of his life, Brenda K. Ives. Together they shared 33 years of marriage and created countless cherished memories. Terry and Brenda enjoyed spending time with family, attending concerts and sporting events, boating, fishing, and riding bikes together. Terry had a passion for music and loved playing the guitar. He also found happiness in caring for his beloved dog, Barney, feeding the birds, tending to his tropical fish, and loved being a part of Countryside Christian Church.

Terry will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Brenda K. Ives of Wichita, Kansas; his brother, Michael Ives of Overland Park, Kansas; his daughter, Rachel of Garden City, Kansas; his stepson, Mark of St. Peters, Missouri; his stepdaughter, Michelle of Colombia, South Carolina; and his grandsons, Joshua of Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Taylor of Vacaville, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Betty Ives of Scott City, Kansas, and his sister, Cynthia Apple of Scott City, Kansas.

Terry's kindness, love of family, faith, and enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him and serve as a lasting reminder of a life well lived.

A Memorial Service will be held on August 29, 2026 at 10:00AM at Countryside Christian Church, 1919 S Rock Rd, Wichita, KS 67207.
