Thomas Edwin Vaughn

87, peacefully left us on December 11, 2017, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice at St. Francis Hospital. He was born on July 22, 1930, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Arthur Edward and Nellie Jane Vaughn. On March 1, 1948, he married Anna Lea Bolton in Wichita, Kansas. Tom retired as an Experimental Manufacturing Engineer from Boeing Aircraft after 37 years in 1988. He is survived by his wife, Anna; daughter, Diana Lea (Russell) Rench; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne Dalluge, John Thomas (Kimberly) Mills, Erica Lynn (Amber) Vaughn, Zachary Thomas Vaughn and Tiffany Lynn Rench; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sibling, Hugh Henry Vaughn. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Thomas Arthur Vaughn; sisters, Eunice Pedigo and Gertrude Simmons; and brothers, Frank Vaughn and James Vaughan. Services officiated by Rev. Amy Foster, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017, with visitation one hour prior at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Hwy 54 in Wichita.
