  My life has been enriched by sharing some conversations and times with Mr. and Mrs. Vonfeldt through the years that I was able to spend with Tyler at the elementary school.
  Mr. Vonfeldt displayed such patience, kindness and love for his children.  He was a strong disciplinarian while remaining a push-over for them.
  Jenny, Mattie, and Tyler, I know your loss is great.  When there is great love, there is great loss.

I was privileged to serve Tom as his family physician.  He was an inspiration to me professionally and personally.  I will miss him greeting me and asking about my family and my day, whenever he was in the office, knowing full well that he was suffering.  Tom was inspirational in his devotion to his wife Jenny and his kids.  Despite a cruel and unforgiving diagnosis of cancer, Tom exhibited strength and grace throughout his many year battle.  His was a life well lived.  Rest in peace Tom.
