Pierce, Toma J., 65, passed away Saturday October 5, 2013. Toma was an outstanding mother and wife. She was a housewife, PTA Board member, and a school district volunteer. She loved gardening and her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Doris Alexander; and brother, Carl Alexander. She is survived by her husband; Sam Pierce, her daughters, Robyn Pierce and Aimee Hoffman; grandchildren Matthew Pierce and Chase Hoffman. Visitation is Wednesday 5 to 7 pm, and Funeral service is 10:30 am Thursday, October 10 at Resthaven Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kansas Humane Society.
