

Tumilara "Tumi" Adeagbo, age 14, 8th grade student at Eisenhower Middle School in Goddard, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. She was born on February 6, 2007, in Charleston, South Carolina, the daughter of Bamidele and Bose (Olabiyi) Adeagbo.
Tumi was a straight "A" student. She enjoyed reading and was a role model to many, especially her cousins. Her paternal grandmother, Victoria, had a significant part in raising her and her sisters and helping to form who she was. Tumi participated in orchestra; playing both the violin and piano, she participated in Taekwondo, soccer, cross country and was looking forward to running track this spring. She also enjoyed cooking and painting in her free time. She was handy, well organized, dependable, generous, kind and above all she enjoyed helping people. Tumi was always concerned with the environment and was conscious of taking care of the planet. When she grew up, she wanted to be an Engineer.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Dotun Adeagbo.
She is survived by her parents, Dele and Bose Adeagbo; sisters, Tami and Toni Adeagbo; grandparents; aunts; uncles; cousins; godparents; and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Pathway Church, 2001 North Maize Road, Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, in Tumi's Memory.
