Ayala, Vidal, 88, retired US Navy veteran and retired postal service clerk, passed away February 26, 2012. He loved his family dearly and will be missed and remembered by those he loved. He was preceded in death by son, Dennis Ayala; sisters, Grace Mandujano and Magdelena “Helen” Gonzales; brothers, Armando Ayala and Hector “Jaime” Ayala. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Bertha; sons, Edward and John Ayala of Wichita and Richard (Stephanie) Ayala of Haysville; brothers and sisters, Ninfa Miranda; Joe Ayala, Jr., Abelardo “Larry” Ayala, Elida “Mary” Blades, Serjio “Steve” Ayala, Daniel “Danny” Ayala, Joel Ayala, Carla Ayala, Israel Ayala, Abigaile “Abi” Landes and Mario Luis Ayala; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Viewing 12-8 p.m. Tuesday and Funeral service 3 p.m. Wednesday both at Resthaven Mortuary. A memorial has been established with Pathway Church.
