

Jackson, Wanda Lea “Lea”, 88, passed away on May 16, 2015. Lea moved to Wichita when she was 11. She was working at Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company until she became pregnant in 1950 to her first daughter, and became a housewife. She later worked at Friends University until she had her second daughter. Lea was a lifetime member of 50/50 First United Methodist Church Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by: parents, Carl and Lorene Wannow; spouse, Delbert Jackson; and sister, Joyce Sidebottom. Lea is survived by: daughters, Dana Wattson (Robert K. III), and Lisa Rymph (Alan D.); brother in-law, Wayne Sidebottom; sisters, Jean Athey (“Bud”), and Garnet Ann Gardner (Paul); grandchildren, Amber Wattson, Alex (Chelsie) Wattson, Daniel Rymph, and Frazer Rymph; and great grandchildren, Codie Jones, Charlize Wattson, Lauren Echols, Megan Echols, and Emily Echols. She spent her whole life loving her family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to The T.V. Ministry at FUMC, or the Kansas Humane Society. Funeral service will be held at Resthaven Mortuary on Wednesday, May 20, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, from 5:30-8:30.
