So fortunate to have been neighbors and life-long friends of the Gipson family. Loving husband, father and grandfather. The world needs more Wayne Gipsons. Thankfully his humor and unmistakeable goodness will live on through his children.

... There are no words I can find to express the loss I feel for the Gipson family and anyone who truly knew Wayne. He was the closest thing I’ve had to a brother, and someone I am truly proud to call my best friend. The warmth of his personality, and wisdom will be sorely missed, as will his gentle smile and humor. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and family now and always.

I love you...

I am a friend and co-worker of Richard's and remember fondly all of the great stories he shared about his father. I know how much Richard thought of him as well as all his family, I could tell by how he spoke about them and the smiles it brought to his face. I hope in time these great memories can bring some comfort to you all. Blessings- Robyn Clark

I am Wayne’s cousin. His Father was my Mother’s little brother. When I was a young boy our Grandmother, Mary Gipson took me by train to visit the Gipson family in Garden City. We stayed several days and although I was a few years older than Wayne I have very fond memories of Wayne and that visit. Wayne was such a happy and great kid. I regret not getting to know him better as an adult. We had recently reconnected on Facebook and I have enjoyed very much seeing what a wonderful man he had become and what a loving family he had. My entire family has Wayne and his family in our thoughts and prayers.

Wayne was a wonderful, gentle loving man. He was a father figure to my son, Nathan Cain.. and he was always so nice to me at family gatherings. My thoughts, love and prayers to your family.

Wayne was like a father to me. My father Kenneth Gipson (Wayne’s brother) passed away when I was a baby. Wayne stepped up and was always there for my brother and I. We spent many weekends and summers with their family and I have some of the best memories of my childhood with them. Things will never be the same. We love and miss you so much Wayne. I can only hope you and my dad are together looking down and seeing all of the love we have for both of you. I love you I love you I love you.

I've only known Wayne for a few years. We work together on telecom projects. He struck me as an honest, hardworking man who took great pride in his work and his reputation. But when he spoke of his family, he became softer and his eyes would twinkle. His voice and his tone reflected the great pride he felt for those closest to him. I know he will be missed by many of us in this industry, but not like he will be missed by you. My thought and prayers are with you all.

The loss of Wayne leaves a huge hole in the lives of myself and everyone that knew him. My life has been brighter for knowing him and to be able to call him my friend. I am sure he will grace heaven with the same humor and love that I will always remember.
