I worked with Wes for many years at the VA and he was always there with a helping hand or a kind word. As my girls grew up and were involved in some sort of fund raiser he would seek me out to help support them. He had a great heart and will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Wes was one of the most respected men I've ever known . He helped me out many times and was always there if you needed help. He and Betty let me stay at there house when I was stuck in Wichita and I lived in Pratt. The weather was a blizzard and it would have been a bad idea to drive. I will always be grateful for their generosity.
He will be missed by many.
