Wyatt, William “Bill” H., Jr. 87, died June 14, 2015. He was born in August 1927 to William H. Wyatt Sr. and Gertrude (Peterson) Wyatt in Cleveland, Ohio. Bill served in WW II with Merchant Marines and in Korea with the United States Marines. While in Korea, he was awarded a Purple Heart. He retired as a small business owner. In November 1951, he married Hazel (Harper) Holloway and raised three children in this union that lasted just short of 60 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel, his parents, two brothers and a sister. Survivors include a daughter, Sherri (Bud) Thornton, a son Robert (Gayle) Wyatt, a son Gary Wyatt, a grandson, Michael (Amy) Potter and 2 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Hillside Funeral Home East Chapel. Rest Well, Dad, you’ve earned it.
