Senior Master Sergeant William Edward Hall, affectionately known as “Bill,” went to his heavenly home on April 17th, 2025. Life began for Bill on April 25th, 1939, as the first of five children born to William and Marie Hall.
Education was a significant part of his early years, attending Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and graduating from Charlotte High School in 1957. His journey continued as he joined the US Air Force, where he built a distinguished career. In 1963, he married Anna Sapp, and together they welcomed three beautiful children into the world.
Furthering his education, he graduated from Kansas Newman College and after retiring from the Air Force, he dedicated many years to working for Flight Safety. His passion for flying extended beyond his career, as he was also a skilled pilot who enjoyed taking to the skies.
Preceded in death by his parents, William and Marie Hall, and three sisters, Vernette Milsap, Brenda Garrison, and Harriet Foster, he leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication.
Cherishing his memory are his loving wife, Anna Sapp Hall; his children, Damon Hall, LaBan Hall, and Sonja (Hall) Jenkins; his grandchildren, Jayden Hall, Ethan Hall, Gavin Hall, Ricky Jenkins and Ashley Jenkins; and two brothers, Lewis O. Hall and Ivan G. Hall, both of Charlotte, NC.
A visitation for William will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with a funeral service at 1:00 PM, followed by a graveside service in the Garden of Gospels. All at Resthaven Mortuary and Gardens of Memory 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
