Bill was born to Jack and Elaine Hayden in Akron, Ohio. Bill was the oldest of 7 children, they all grew up in West Louisville, Kentucky. Bill loved being a jet fighter mechanic in the U.S. Air Force. God gave Bill the gift to fix and build almost anything. Until Bill met Carolyn, he was a confirmed bachelor. They have been married since July 1965. Bill is survived by his wife, children Dana and Dwayne, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
