William Albert Page of Wichita, Kansas, known to everyone as Al, passed away in hospice care on July 20, 2026. He was 78 years old.
Al was the beloved son of Robert and Marjorie Page and brother of Jill Brooks, Max Page and Susan Page. He graduated from Wichita Southeast High School in 1965 and earned a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Kansas.
His career in business took him around the world, including stints of living in Chicago, Brussels and London before returning to his hometown. In later years, he became active in the Wichita Junior Golf Foundation, continuing the legacy of community service of his mother, the organization’s co-founder. He was an avid golfer and a member of Crestview Country Club.
Those who knew Al will remember his quick mind, his wry humor, his kindness to others and his enduring affection for his BMW Z4 sports car, which he named Jean-Philippe.
He is survived by sisters Jill Brooks of Reno, Nevada, and Susan Page of Washington, D.C., and by sister-in-law Katy Page of Vienna, Virginia, as well as seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Max.
His memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home and Cemetery in Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Al’s memory to the Wichita Junior Golf Foundation.
