William G Perkins

Perkins, William "Bill" G., born in Hawley, MN on May 7, 1932, Bill passed away June 30, 2016 in Wichita, KS at the age of 84. He joined the Air Force in 1949 and served for 13 years, during which he fought in the Korean War and was decorated Staff Sgt. He married the love of his life, Delores, on December 6, 1958. He began working at Boeing in 1961 where he worked for 33 years as a computer operator. He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Nina Perkins; brothers Loren, Ronald, Kenneth, and Jerry; sisters Nina, June, Delores, and Janice; and grandson Michael Van Horn. Bill is survived by wife Delores; daughters Debbie (Shaun) Gary and Diana (Mark) Van Horn; sisters Daryl Liljequist and Betty Chilopek; grandchildren Chris (Amanda) Williams, Shelly (Daniel) Ferris, David Lassley, Matt (Natalie) Van Horn, Megan (Manny) Brozek, Sharon Gary, Shannon Gary, and Cheyenne Gary; and great grandchildren Daisy Barrera, Carter Ferris, Camden Ferris, and Baby Barrera. Bill was a man who loved his family and will be dearly missed. Funeral services will held Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Resthaven Mortuary.
