William "Wayne" Reece

William Wayne Reece, age 62, passed away January 17, 2019. He led a wonderful life and was very quick to help family and friends in need. He was commonly described as gentle and kind. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, but lived in New Orleans, Louisiana during his formative years. It was in New Orleans that he met his wife of 44 years, Donna. They retuned to Wichita to be with the rest of Wayne’s family. Wayne and Donna opened Clear Vu Optical as an optician and he thoroughly enjoyed working with the doctors and community. He is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Tanya; son, Toby; grandchildren, Madi and Max; mother, Shirley Scrimager; and his brothers family David, Cyndi, Kaitlyn, Koryn. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Open viewing will be held 1-7 pm Sunday, January 20, 2019 and Monday January 21, 2019 at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
