Mr. William (Bill) R. Snook, 87, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2016. Bill was born September 23, 1928 in Wichita, KS to William R. Sr. and Margaret Snook. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in mechanical engineering. He retired from Boeing as a Design Manager, Aircraft Systems. In 1952, Bill married Rosemary McPeak, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Lisa (Jeff) Nelson, Steve (Andrea) Snook, and Christie (Dick) Lewallen; and six grandchildren. He is also predeceased by his sister Persis Stoenner, and is survived by his brother Jim Snook. The family would like to acknowledge the loving companionship of Barbara Kaufman for the past 15 years. Funeral service will be at Lakeview at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016; viewing at 9 a.m.
