I had the joy of getting to play volleyball with Billie Jo at CWU. I still think of her when I play. She had such a kind heart and sweet spirit. I will never forget her friendship and the joy she had for life and her smile that said it all! Gone too soon.

I am so sorry to learn of Billie Jo's passing. I first met her when she worked at Curves. She always had a smile on her face and lit up the room. We (my daughter and I) spent many an afternoon working out and laughing with Billie Jo. I will truly miss running into her around town. She was truly a sweet soul!

In 2004 I participated int the hiring of Billie Joe for Sumner School District. What a gem! She proved herself a star educator in short order. She not only made a difference in the students' lives, but supported other teachers in many ways. Technology and work with alternative assessments to name a few. It is a tragedy that she burned so brightly for so short of a time. Good bye Billie Joe. I and many others will miss you greatly.

As Billy Jo's pastor I looked for her every Sunday morning. Why? Because of her smiling face and encouraging spirit. Her smile lit up the room and brought encouragement to so many. I will miss seeing her each week but am confident that our loss is heaven's gain. RIP ... c u soon.

I, like so many others, was shocked to hear of the loss of this awesome person. Billie Jo came into my life at Ocosta Elementary School, and her smile made a huge impression upon my Spirit. Who but an Angel could have a smile and laugh like that? We have lost a friend and loved one too soon. She will always be near as Love in our Hearts and Laughter in our Souls. May the memories sustain you during the days ahead, and may all the Blessings you need be yours...Much Aloha to you all... <3

So sorry to hear of the loss of Billie Jo. What a loss for her community and students! She and I saw eachother a few years ago at a Special Education training for scoring. She was bubbly and friendly as I had remembered her from HS basketball. May warm memories comfort your family during this difficult time. Warmly, Kate Arnold-Wenzl (former Davenport Gorilla)

It is difficult to loose someone at any time. My prayers and thought are with the Bandy family. I had the pleasure of meeting Billie Jo and she had a smile to light up a room along with her infectious laugh. She has been welcomed home and we too shall all meet again.
God's Blessings and Comfort.

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Billie Jo. I played against her in high school, and remember her as a great competitor with such enthusiasm and sportsmanship. What an unfortunate loss, all my thoughts & prayers are with her family.

Our memories of Billie Jo include a sweet, kind girl to other kids in 4-H. Reading her co-workers' words tells us she totally dedicated her life to education and children. You must be very proud. We send you our love and prayers.

I was fortunate to be able to work on the building project with Billie Jo, she was alway full of kind words and contagous smiles. Each time we met she would sweetly tell me some detail of her interaction with my children. She was the kind of educator you hope will touch your childs life. I am grateful she touched my family. Bless you.

I have been a parent volunteer at Maple Lawn Elementary for the last three years. During that time I can't remember a single instance(and I was there weekly!) when she wasn't smiling or laughing. She was a joy to be around and always had a warm smile and kind word for the kids at school. Billie Jo was such a positive influence at MLE. I can't believe she is gone. We are so much poorer for her absence. My condolences to her family and friends...I hope her memory is always clear and bright for those who loved her. My son Cameron would like to add "I am very sad that Mrs. Bandy is gone. She was a very good teacher."

I have worked with Billie Jo the last 6 years and truly feel blessed to have had her in my life. I will never forget the class we took last summer where I have never laughed so much. She was truly a blessing to all the students and staff she worked with. I will miss her greatly.

while I know Billie Jo the least of the Bandy women, I know hwhat a quality individual she was, and how much she loved and was loved. I am saddened along with her family and community.

When I think back to the many years in Wilbur I spent with Billie Jo I can't think of one bad thing she ever did or said. She was truly an angel on earth. I have so many fond memories of playing volleyball with Billie. I even played against her in college - kindred volleyball spirits. She has touched countless lives and will forever be alive in my heart. All my love to Billie Jo and her family

Billie Jo was a special friend to us, and to the Young at Heart group here at Grace! She joyfully shared Jesus' love with everyone around her, and was key to building relationships between the 20-30 Somethings and our Senior adults. We Love You, Billie Jo!

I met Billie Jo briefly, just after she and her mother had received their Master's Degrees at a Boise State University graduation.
What a proud and happy day that was for the mother-daughter team and for their dad, Bob, one of my high school classmates!
Knowing her parents, I have no doubt that Billie Jo left a positive impact wherever she went.
Bill and I send our condolences to Bob, Jeanette and the Bandy family.

Billie Jo has been my son's teacher the past two years. I cannot express how saddened we are to lose such an amazing advocate for and teacher of children. Eric loved Miss Bandy and I was constantly amazed by Billie's willingness to go above and beyond in her help with Eric's learning challenges. May God hold your family close and comfort you all in this most difficult time. We are praying for you all.
Sincerely,
The Randolph Family
