CROASMUN, Clara Alice (85) of Almira, Washington, passed away at Lincoln Hospital in Davenport, Washington, Monday morning, December 18, 2017.. Clara entered this world Monday, March 28, 1932 in Wausaukee, Wisconsin into the home of John and Pauline Kuchta. On Friday – December 16, 1960, Clara’s life changed forever, when she married Emanuel “Red” Croasmun in North Carolina. A member of Almira Community Church, Clara loved being the Homemaker for her family. As well as being an amazing cook, Clara was very “crafty person” (ie: she loved doing different crafts) Clara enjoyed being creative through sewing and various hobbies. While she loved to shop and was the most generous person in the world, Clara was never shy when it came to speaking her mind on matters which were important her, particularly when it came to what was best for her family. All who knew Clara, realized that her greatest fulfillment and joy was being a “WONDERFUL WIFE, MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER.” Clara’s legacy lives on through her beloved husband of 57 years: Emanuel “Red” Croasmun, U.S. Navy Retired, of Almira, WA; daughters: Vannette Shangrow of Enumclaw, WA, Karla Muehlhausen of Omak, WA and Cheryl Wilson of Bonney Lake, WA; sons: Emanuel Croasmun III of Stockton, CA and Todd Croasmun of Almira, WA; grandchildren: Christina Fisher of Lake Oswego, OR, Rebecca Boone of Oak Harbor, WA, Zachery Croasmun of Electric City, WA, Lt. Aaron Wilson, USN of Bremerton, WA, Kelsey Shangrow of Colorado Springs, CO, Heidi Wilson of Goldendale, WA, LTJG Matthew Wilson USN (currently serving at Sea), Danielle Croasmun of Oroville, Meryssa Croasmun of Stockton, CA, Savina Croasmun of Stockton, CA, Lilly Croasmun of Stockton, CA and Andre Croasmun of Stockton, CA and nine great-grandchildren. “CLARA WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY ALL OF HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS!” Her family requests that donations be made in Clara’s memory to St. Jude Children Hospital, 311 California St, San Francisco, CA 94104, (415) 296-6786, https://www.stjude.org/. Mom, I love and miss you so very much. I think about calling you a lot and I'm sure you hear my thoughts and words all the time. It's just not the same. You were taken too soon and with no warning. I never expected you to be gone, I thought you'd be here forever. I know you'd be happy to know that Kelsey is doing great and is happy.
