William A. “Bill” Cunningham Jr. (74) died the early morning of Friday, December 6, 2013 at his Wilbur, Washington home. Bill was born May 20, 1939 into the North Fork, California Home of his parents: William A. Sr. & Pauline Cunningham. He served his country from 1957 to 1960 on the United States Navy Aircraft Carrier, USS Bon Homme Richard earning a Good Conduct Medal. Follow his tour of military duty Bill worked and retired as a Machinist, but following retirement he was able to pursue his true passion as a Truck Driver. June 17, 1972 found Bill in Bremerton, Washington marrying Judy Moss, with whom he would walk together for the next forty-one years. Members of the Almira Community Church, Bill and Judy have lived in Wilbur, Washington for the last 24 years. Predeceased by his son: William A. Cunningham III; daughter: Valerie Cunningham; brother: Thomas Cunningham and sister: Roberta; Bill’s legacy lives on through his loving wife: Judy Cunningham, children: Cynthia Hemphill, Tracy Kozey, Sara McElyea and Amy Cunningham; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and his sister: Clara Tanner. At Bill’s request cremation has taken place and no services will be held. His family wishes to express their sincere appreciation the Wilbur Fire Department’s EMS personnel for their wonderful care of Bill during their many trips to his home.
