Ann Koontz, 90, of Oxford, Florida, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 25, 2026. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Andy and Edith Bissey, Ann lived a vibrant, full life defined by her devotion to her family and her deep love for Jesus.
Throughout her well-traveled life, Ann made warm homes and lasting friendships in Bloomington, Indiana; Clearwater, Florida; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Sterling, Alaska; and most recently, Trinity Springs Assisted Living in Oxford, Florida. No matter where she lived, Ann was instantly recognized by her happy heart, her quick smile, and an unconditional kindness and generosity that touched everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Koontz. Her beautiful legacy lives on through her family, whom she adored. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Dave Donk, and Debbie and Jim Fenlason; her three cherished grandsons, Matthew, Stephen, and Daniel; three great-grandsons; and a great-granddaughter whose arrival she eagerly anticipated this fall.
In keeping with her lifelong spirit of giving and putting others first, Ann chose to donate her body to the Anatomical Board of the State of Florida to advance medical research and education. Because of this final act of selflessness, no formal services are planned.
