

Carol was born to Robert George and Mildred (Capion) Hoffman on March 30, 1936, in Massillon, Ohio. She graduated from Massillon’s Washington High School in 1954. Shortly after graduating HS, Carol moved with her family to El Paso, Texas where she attended Texas Western College (currently University of Texas El Paso).
In 1957, while working at El Paso Natural Gas Company, she met the Love of her Life, Carveth Clements. They were married 6 months later on September 27, 1957 and remained in love for over 68 years.
Carol and Carveth raised four children together, and she absolutely loved being a mother and a wife. Family was most important to her. She enjoyed spending time and traveling with her grandchildren, and was able to enjoy her three great grandchildren. She loved cooking, and playing games with family and was the best at cards and dominoes. She was an avid Ohio State fan and that excitement spread throughout the entire family. She retired from John Hancock Life Insurance Company, and in 1993 moved to Brownwood Texas where her and Carveth lived for thirty years.
Carol is survived by her son Steve Clements and wife Michelle of The Villages, Florida; Granddaughter Sarah Riley and husband Ian of Austin, Texas; Grandson Jacob Kinkaid and fiancé Marisol Romero of Austin, Texas; 3 Great Grandchildren, Harper, Knox, and Rome.
She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Alice Nelson; her husband Carveth Clements; her sons, David Clements, and Mike Clements, and her daughter Debbie Kinkaid.
