Al dedicated his life to proudly serving his country in the United States Army. He retired after 30 years and 11 days. Al spent 23 years in Airborne duty, 16 years in Special Forces and seven years "as a damn LEG". He served four tours in Vietnam and had over 1200 jumps in his career. He truly loved the military, serving our country and the sense of pride it brought him. This is a legacy he shared with his family and values he was able to pass down to his sons.
He is predeceased by his wife and soulmate, Antonia "Toni" Boman.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jim and his wife, Debbie and John and his wife, Michele; one grandchild, Tim and three great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held at 10:30AM on January 17th with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 11:00AM at Dignity Memorial Life Celebration Center. Burial and Military Honors presentation to follow at Florida National Cemetery at 2:00PM.
