To the family, I can remember when she come to my grandparents home to draw blood.I was amazed at her kindness. She was truly an a person with a big heart.May she rest in peace. She's with Bob now.

We are so sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. She was a wonderful nurse, mother, Sunday School Teacher, lab tech, and so much more. Her kindness will always be remembered and her warm smile is missed by all. May she fly high with the angels. Prayers and hugs to all of her family.

Sending a hug to you Martha and support to you and your family at the tremendous loss of your mom. I think of her whenever I make a pie. I took  a 4H baking class she taught and have carried the oft-used recipes with me for decades. She was immensely kind and warm and caring and made everyone feel welcome.  It is wonderful to read about her life and  astounding accomplishments and the help and love she gave to so many people.

My sincere sympathy to Helen's family. She was a great lady. She was working at the hospital at the time I had a major loss in my life, her presence and kind words have been remembered and appreciated. May you fill your hearts with happy times you shared with her as a family. Bob is waiting with open arms. RIP Helen.

My sincere condolences to the entire family. Many memories of Helen (always Mrs. Jemison to me) over the years. My favorite one has to be at age 19 when I got married in the Lisbon Church, turned around to walk out and up in the balcony were all the ladies of the church standing with their aprons on. Helen was front and center with a big smile. She was a lovely person with a heart of gold.

So very sorry to learn of the loss of your Mom, Martha! I met her as ‘table neighbors’ at a health fair many years ago, where she was representing Hospice. We had an enjoyable afternoon chatting! What a wonderful soul.  I first met Helen when her family hosted us at Valley League in high school and then got to know her when she worked in the lab.  She inspired many of us when she returned to nursing school.  She will be missed.

Martha and Family - I'm very sorry to read your mother passed away.  My parents met your mother when she was working for Hospice and was assigned to be my father's nurse.  Your parents became good friends of both of my parents, and it turned out we were related on your father's side.  Helen was always there for us.  She remained friends of my mother's after my father passed away in 2000.  I appreciated your mother for being a caring person.  My prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

We mourn the passing of Helen Jemison, a remarkable woman whose generosity and kindness touched so many lives. Helen was more than a sponsor—she was a guiding light, offering hope and support with an open heart. Her unwavering belief in others inspired strength and courage in all of us. Though she is gone, her legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in our hearts. Rest peacefully, Helen. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
