November 09, 1956 – April 17, 2025
With heavy hearts and loving memories, we announce the passing of our beloved Jon Little, a devoted husband, cherished father and stepfather, and proud grandfather, who left us peacefully on Thursday April 17, 2025 at the age of 68.
Born in Nyack, New York, Jon was raised in the close-knit community of Salamanca, NY, where he formed the roots of his strong values, quiet strength, and deep compassion. A man of unwavering character and a generous heart, he spent his life devoted to family, friends, and those fortunate enough to know him.
Jon was not only a provider and protector but also a source of wisdom, laughter, and love. His role as a husband brought warmth and steadiness to his home; as a father and stepfather, he guided with patience and understanding; and as a grandfather, he was a joyful presence, offering stories, smiles, and unconditional love.
In the last chapter of his life, Jon found comfort and joy in The Villages, Florida, where he spent the past 10 years surrounded by sunshine, new friendships, and cherished memories.
A lifelong lover of music, Jon especially enjoyed attending live performances of all kinds—his favorite being anything by The Beatles. He also had a remarkable talent for home projects and remodels, often taking on tasks with a skilled hand and a creative eye. However, above all, Jon found his greatest joy in spending time with his beloved wife. Whether relaxing at home or traveling together, their time shared was the center of his world.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Jacqueline Little, father to Kempton (Kelly) Little, Joshua Little and stepfather to Timothy Kosmowski. Grandfather to Grayson and Aurora, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Also survived by his loving siblings, family and friends.
Jon will be remembered for his steadfast love, gentle humor, and the quiet strength that anchored his family. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday May 16th, 2025 at Dignity Memorial Life Celebration Center. 7134 Powell Road, Wildwood Florida at 11 am. , a luncheon to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to Moffitt Cancer Center or Cornerstone Hospice.
We love you, Jon. Your legacy will forever be a light in our lives.
