

Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was the owner of The Brook Cocktail Lounge before going to work as a Chef at the Sands Hotel in Atlantic City. He was a wonderful cook with a love of food and a life long Yankees fan.
During his retirement he enjoyed dancing, cards and his time at the American Legion.
He is predeceased by his parents and brother, James Simpson.
Left to cherish his memory is his spouse and the love of his life, Elsie Charney; children, Joseph Simpson (Mary Ann) and Jeanne Marie Allen (George); siblings, Leslie Simpson, James Simpson predeceased (Marilyn) and Doug Simpson (Audrey); step children, Donna Corine (Lewis), LouAnne Fox (Jeffery) and Robert Rocchetti (Donna); sister-in-law, Bernadette Charney. 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
