Judythe May Borland, 81, The Villages, Florida, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022 at home after a nine year fight against G.I.S.T. Cancer. She was surrounded by family, passed peacefully with no pain.
Judy was born on December 27, 1940 in Boston, MA. She was the daughter of Joseph J. Clarke and Ethel M. Evans of East Weymouth, MA.
Judy was an Administrative Aide in Life Insurance for over 30 years and also a single parent at that time in her life. Judy met the love of her life, Wayne Borland, a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard, and they were married on February 14, 1991. Judy and Wayne had 5 children between them: Laurie, Christina, David, Thomas and Ken. Judy truly believed in the Italian Motto "La Famiglia E Tutto" which means family is everything.
Judy loved doing amazing crafts, making greeting cards that were very articulate, playing card games with her local friends. She was a loyal supporter of her entire family. Judy was extremely kind, generous, humorous, loving and truly a genuine person. Her grandchildren remember Nana as fun loving, had a big heart, always had a warm smile to go with her big hugs. Nana taught them to be humble and kind, act with integrity, honesty, hard work, dedication, selflessness, generosity and respect for others. Judy was a fighter to the end and never gave up. She was an inspiration to her family, and those who knew her.
