Marcia Amsterdam Lewis, age 92, passed away on June 16, 2026. She was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1934 and lived at various locations there, including Crown Street and Kings Highway. Marcia attended Samuel J. Tilden High School in East Flatbush. In October 1953 Marcia married Herbert Lewis and they were happily married with two daughters until his passing in 2011. In 1969 they moved to Oceanside, Long Island to raise their family. She had a long career at General Motors Assurance Corp. starting as a secretary and working her way up to District Manager. Once retired, she moved to Palm Beach Gardens and then Delray Beach, Florida to blissfully live out her golden years. She is survived by her children and their
families: Gayle, Eric, Drew Arnum & Nick Miller and Lori, Jan and Sabine Stein and her sister Maxine Beitelman. She will be buried in the family plot at New Montefiore Cemetery.
