November 9, 1951 – September 4, 2025
Larger than life, a force of nature, the life of every party – all ways to describe Peter V. Born in Brooklyn, NY, where he played street hockey, stickball, and anything else he could get into with his brother and the Pershing Boys. Peter V. met his beautiful wife as a teenager and knew instantly he wanted to marry her. He made the trek from Breezy Point to New Jersey in 1983 to raise his girls, and ultimately welcome his three grandchildren. He proudly worked for Con Edison for 35 years. In retirement, Peter and Mary V. enjoyed their life in The Villages, Florida with friends old and new, where Peter V. honed his golf game and became an avid pickleball champ.
He infused everything with joy and was so grateful for all he had, especially his family. He had a lot more life to live, but we will do our very best to honor him and embrace what he brought to our lives.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 55 years, Mary Beinert Vincelli; his three daughters, Alyson, Kristen and Lauren; three beautiful grandchildren Kayla, Veronica and Alex; only brother Jerry Vincelli, his wife Joanne and their children and grandchildren, as well as his extended family of Beinert’s, their children and grandchildren.
