Robert William Huffman

Robert William Huffman, age 65, of Umatilla, Florida passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Robert was born June 20, 1956 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to Paul and Dorothy Huffman. Robert proudly served his country for 17 years in the United States Navy where he earned the rank of E7, Chief. After his military service he and his wife operated an Ace Hardware store in Key West. He later went on to work for the United States Postal Service for 22 years before retiring. He was a faithful member of the Umatilla Baptist church. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 30 years, Kari; children, Jennifer Huffman Mira and Robert Huffman; mother, Dorothy; brothers, Randy, Rusty, Ronnie and Paul; grandchildren, Isabele, Steven Jr, and Austin; one great grandchild on the way as well as numerous extended family members and friends. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to either a veteran's charity or a bladder cancer advocacy organization of their choice. Graveside service will be held Friday June, 3rd at 3pm at Greenlawn Memorial Park Wilmington North Carolina. Address:1311 Shipyard Blvd Wilmington, North Carolina.
