Ms. Vicki Findley, age 81, of The Villages, FL, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 21, 1945, in Biloxi, Mississippi, to her parents, Claude Lorraine Sanders and Ethel Evelyn Beene.
Vicki was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She received her master’s degree in education from Texas A&M and spent nearly 30 years teaching elementary school in Houston, shaping the lives of many young students. Years later, she moved to Newnan, Georgia, to be closer to her grandchildren. This is also where she met the love of her life and best friend, Ronnie Dean. Together, they built a lifetime of happiness. Her hobbies included golf, vacations with Ronnie, caring for her Maine Coons, and listening to live music in Brownwood Square. Her greatest joy of all, however, was spending time with her children and granddaughters.
She is survived by her soulmate, Ronnie Dean; her brother, Richard Sanders; her two loving children, Morgan Philipps (Ann Margaret) and Lori Work (Robert); Ronnie's daughter, Suzanne Dean; and her precious granddaughters, Kali Guimond and Graci Belle Guimond, who called her MeMe, as well as countless friends. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, C.L. Sanders and Evelyn Beene. Those who were blessed to know her loved her dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Dignity Memorial Life Celebration Center, 7134 Powell Rd, Wildwood, FL 34785
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
