Victoria Marie Frolio

On Monday, October 10, 2022, Victoria Marie “Vicki” Frolio, age 48, of Tampa, Florida passed away suddenly, due to a brain aneurysm, at the Shands Hospital in Gainesville. Vicki was born on December 30, 1973, in Havertown, Pennsylvania to William H. “Bill” and Kathryn I. “Kay” (Robbins) Mowers. She is the loving and devoted mother of Sydney Elizabeth and Samantha Marie Rockefeller, and Courtney Jane Hepburn. She treasured her beautiful girls and embraced every moment with them. She found the love of her life, John Angelo Frolio in 2016, married him in 2018, and truly lived happily ever after. Their devoted love is enviable.

Other surviving family members who will miss Vicki every day for the rest of their lives include sister Kathryn I. “Kay” McKenzie (Kevin), brother William F. “Bill” Mowers, nephews Jack and Liam McKenzie, and her extended family. Vicki will also be missed by her many friends, old and new.

Vicki could do anything and wanted to try it all. Her career path had many stops along the way. She was a flight attendant, a mortgage loan processor, a paralegal, a hotel banquet manager, a hair stylist, and a registered nurse, but she loved nothing more than painting and drawing. Vicki was a brilliant artist who sold her paintings and was hired to create murals in many places. Florida was her muse.

Vicki always had a Coke in her hand, even if it was 7am. She loved soft pretzels, and always asked Sydney to pick one up from Publix when she was headed there. Vicki loved to cook. She was a brilliant baker, and her breakfast sandwiches were unforgettable.

Vicki will also be missed by “Charlie” and “Jill,” her beloved Lhasa Poos, who cuddled with her daily. Everyone who knew Vicki loved how she made them laugh. Quick and witty, Vicki was the funniest person in every crowd lucky enough to have her. She had the biggest heart and was always helping others, no matter how big or small the act. The world is less sunny without her.

A visitation for Vicki will be held Monday, October 17, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Dignity Memorial Life Celebration Center, 7134 Powell Road, Wildwood, Florida 34785. A Funeral Mass will follow at 2:00 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5323 East County Road 462, Wildwood, Florida 34785. Please join the family after the Mass for a reception at the Dignity Memorial Life Celebration Center.
