

Betty R. Robinson (93) of Willard, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Crestwood Care Center, Shelby. She was born June 2, 1922 in Bloomville to the late Edward and Luella (Rhoad) Riggleman. Betty worked at Wilkins Air Force Depot during WWII and was transferred to Washington DC. When she returned back to the area she worked at Pioneer Rubber Company as a time keeper in the Glove Department. She also worked for 25 years for the Willard School System as the head cook. Mrs. Robinson was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church where she faithfully attended when she was able. She was a member of Eastern Star for 50 years and a longtime member of the Women of the Moose. Betty was a poll worker for many elections for the Democratic Party and was active in Girl Scouts and cub scouts. She enjoyed quilting, traveling, shopping for shoes and purses and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by a son: Randy L. (Margaret) Robinson of Mansfield, 2 daughters: Gail (Tom) Claytor of Shelby, and Rebecca (Frank) Stahl of Norwalk. 7 grandchildren: Jennifer Spohn of Virginia, Holly and Andrew Robinson, Both of Columbus, Amber (Jeff) Castor and Julie Templeman, Both of Shelby and Katelyn and Kristen Stahl, both of Norwalk. 7 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death in 2008 by her husband: Leroy B. Robinson whom she married October 14, 1945 and sisters: Garland Tackett.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave., Willard. Burial will be at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Willard. Friends may call 11:00 am until the time of the service on Friday. An Eastern Star services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, 308 Myrtle Ave, Willard.
