
She was born on March 21st, 1923 in Willard, Ohio to the late Renna D. & Ethel Stull. Her brother was Renna D. Stull Jr., and was a graduate of Willard High School. She was attending Nursing school when WWII began. She interrupted her Nursing education to marry Dexter L. Booth Jr. They were married while his Destroyer was being refitted in Seattle, Washington.
Helen is survived by four children. Donald Booth (Willard, OH), Diane Booth (Willard, OH), Richard Booth (Cincinnati, OH), and Robert Booth (Los Gatos, CA). She had 10 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, husband, and two sons- Steven Todd Booth and John M. Booth.
While living with her family in Phoenix, Arizona Helen returned to Nursing school and attained a degree in Nursing, her goal of being a RN was finally achieved. She worked for years in Pheonix as a RN and was instrumental in the opening of the first neo-natal ICU in Pheonix. Caring for infants was her life's passion.
When retired, she and her husband toured the western United States & Canada in a Airstream for over 5 years. They returned to Willard in 1988 after being away for almost 3 decades.
Helen will be laid to rest with her husband Dexter in Arlington National Cemetery- Washington D.C.
