John Arthur Damschroder

John A. Damschroder (75) of Attica passed Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at his home. He was born April 3, 1940 in Oak Harbor, Ohio to Herbert A. and Marie H. (Sandrock) Damschroder. John was a veteran of the Vietnam War in the US Navy. He was a member of the Attica American Legion Post #260 and enjoyed working on antique tractors.

Mr. Damschroder is survived by his mother: Marie H. Damschroder of Attica, 2 daughters: Leah (Dan) Kline of Aurora, Oh and Tina (Robert) Pifher of Attica. 4 Step daughters: Deb (Allan) Schoen of Attica, Darlene (Steve) Hoepf of Republic, Donna (William) Valent of Kansas, OH and Diane (Rob) Nutter of Attica. 6 grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 28 step great grandchildren. Sister: Karen Carpenter of Attica. He was preceded in death by his father: Herbert A. Damschroder.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 am Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica with visitation being held from 10:30 am Friday until the time of the service. Burial will be held at Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin.
