Lucille V. VanLoo (86) of Plymouth went to be with her Lord, Sunday, September 16, 2018. She was born March 19, 1932 in Shelby to the late Perry and Hessie (Lewis) Hall. Lucille was a graduate of Shelby High School, class of 1950 and she worked at RR Donnelley and later with her husband John doing the bookwork while he delivered fuel oil for Sohio. Mrs. VanLoo was a member of Willard Christian Reformed Church, former volunteer for the American Red Cross and enjoyed crafts, taking small trips and was an excellent pie maker and cook.
Mrs. VanLoo is survived by: Daughter: Connie (Ted) Rook of Shiloh, son: Terry (Paula Rogers) VanLoo of Plymouth, 2 grandchildren: Wendy (Tim) Rodenbaugh of Shelby, and Ryan (Stephanie) Rook of Ashland, 2 Great grandchildren: Reagan and Rylee Rodenbaugh and 3 sisters: Beulah Ream of Mansfield, Lois (Jim) Miller of TN and Helen (Kent) Eyler of Shelby. She was preceded in death by husband: John VanLoo in 2014, 2 sisters: Virginia Albright and Pauline Markwell and 3 brothers: Perry, Homer and Robert Hall.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave, Willard with the pastor Terence Visser officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Willard Christian Reformed Church or Stein Hospice through funeral home.
