Marilyn A. Loney (85) of Willard passed Tuesday evening, April 17, 2018 at Pristine Senior Living of Willard. She was born February 9, 1933 in Stella, Kentucky to the late Stanley Adams Sr. and Agnes (Roberts) Smith. Mrs. Loney was a graduate of Willard High School, Class of 1951 and was a homemaker and medical assistant. Mrs. Loney was married March 14, 1951 to Harold E. Loney who preceded her in death in 2005. She was a member of Willard First Assembly of God where she had played piano and worked in the women’s and youth ministry where she was a friend and mentor to many over the years.
Mrs. Loney is survived by a daughter: Donna (Gary) Nivens of Johnson City, TN, 3 sons: Steven E. (Kathy) Loney of Willard, Al Loney of Shelby and David Loney of Columbus, 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, 4 brothers: Dick Adams of Willard, Hobart Adams of Willard, Kenneth (Kathy) Adams Sr. of Jasper, GA, and Fred (Sandy) Capelle, Jr of Milan, 4 sisters: Helen Bannworth of Willard, Carol (Paul) Boring of Gainesville, GA, Susie Peck of Chillicothe and Linda (Jerry) Sly of Dayton along with several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Loney was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers: Stanley Adams, Jr. and William Adams and 2 sisters: Louella “Teddy” Walker and Dorothy George.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the First Assembly of God, Main Street with Pastor Mike Harroll officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven, OH. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Friday at the Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave, Willard. Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Assembly of God.
