Ralph Byron McKelvey age 87, of Willard, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior on the glad morning of June 3, 2019, at home with his wife by his side. He was born October 2, 1931 to Glenn and Kate McKelvey and graduated from New Haven High School in 1950. He is survived by his daughter Barbra, and sons Barton (Candace) and William (Aimee). He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, a trimmer operator at R.R. Donnelley for 36 years, a talented woodworker and an active, faithful member of the Christian Alliance Church in Willard. We share your grief, but as resurrection people we know as Jesus lives so does Ralph.
Do not let your hearts be troubled, says the Gospel according to John.

To the McKelvey Family,
Ralph was ever faithful, ever true, and his strong tower was the Lord. He loved his family with all his heart; you didn't have to look hard to know that!
We love you all and will pray fervently for peace in your hearts. Ralph is home.

Dear Sandy, our thoughts are with you and your family as you celebrate the homegoing of Ralph. My memories of Ralph are sweet and powerful as well. Those early days as a believer were peppered with encouragement and teaching by Ralph. We are asking the Lord to strengthen you with His arm and comfort you with His precious promises of spending eternity with Jesus. In the love of our Savior, Jim and Jeri

One of my favorite people ever. Ralph was a great inspiration and Christian mentor to a young man many years ago. I grew to love him like a father and admire him like a rockstar. He actually walked the walk and talked the talk. A true Christian role model in the flesh. I will miss him more than he probably ever knew or expected. He told it like it is, even on the golf course when I was making too much noise:). Bill, know you and your family are in me and my church’s prayers. Ralph is golfing on fairways of gold and greens of pearl now. RIP sir.

Aunt Sandy & Family,

I am so saddened of the passing of Uncle Ralph, though I have not seen him in a couple years, I thought of him often. I am grateful to always be reminded of him when I look at the nice wood cabinet he made for me over 20yrs ago. It is something I have always treasured and will continue to do so even more.

May the lord wrap his loving arms around you all during this very difficult time.
