Alfred “Fred” Patrick Polidori, age 66, of Toano, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. He was born in Paterson, New Jersey on May 31, 1959 and was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Eleanor Polidori; brother, Michael Polidori; and brother-in-law, Jan Thomas.
A longtime chef, turned truck driver, Fred especially loved cooking Italian cuisine. He also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, the Yankees, and NASCAR.
Family was everything to Fred. As long as his family was around, he was a happy person. Fred was the most loving, kindest person anyone that knew him would ever know. He loved with all his heart.
Fred is survived by his Wife, Karen; son, Alfred “Freddie” Polidori (Christina); daughters, Stephanie Pennington (Bobby), Cindy Byrd (Bill), and Candy VanBuren; grandchildren, Ashley, J.P., Brandie, Jesse, Chris, Maddie, Skylar, Richie, Emmalee, and Jeremias; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Lyla, Cooper, Wyatt, Aniyia, and Daizjah; siblings, Eleanor Cox (Michael), Peter Polidori (Lisa), and Connie Thomas; and beloved pet, Mr. Jingles.
