Alice Rice Cottingham

Alice was a retired teacher from the Williamsburg-James City County Public School system and a parishioner of the Williamsburg United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Greensprings Garden Club, Daughters of the American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

Alice is survived by her daughters, Marycarol White (Bill), Patty Rigney (Jimmy) and Ann Brown (Scott); grandchildren, Billy and Charles White, Jay Rigney, Katie Rohrig, Megan and Rob Brown; and 5 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 1-2 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, Virginia and a Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel.
