My condolences to the family of an Iranian aviator. May he rest in peace.

Dear Farideh and Family, 

We are so sorry to  hear about Amir. He was so thoughtful and kind, we will miss him.

To me; He was and always will be an uncle, a friend, a hero and I will miss him greatly.  I share the sorrow with Auntie Farideh, Golie, Ali and the Mathews family.  RIP Amir Khan......

I wanted extend my sincere condolences to you all. I never had an opportunity to meet General Ghoreishi and from what I've read in everyone's messages, he appears to have been a wonderful man; I would have loved to have met him.  I wish you all the best.  You are in my thoughts.

My Dearest Uncle Amir,

I will always remember that beautiful kind smile and your warm caring voice which was such reassurance even though you were miles away. I am so grateful I got to see you once more time when you visited Iran last year, filling our lives with great joy and love. You were so perfect in every way that nothing was ever good enough. I am still looking for Italian dressings on the shelves when I go out to the shops, thinking if you would finally approve. :)

As a child I remember always wishing you would call whenever my mum was feeling down or upset with something, as just one telephone call would do us all miracles. I will never forget the chocolate scavenger hunt you and Aunt Farideh arranged for Tania and I when we first visited you in the States. You did things for us, I would never even think of doing for my own Tara, like tolerating the summer heat at Busch Gardens, while we were having the fun of our lives, without the slightest sign of distress on your face, though I know how much you hated the hot weather.

You used to say I have your genes. Well, my adorable one and only Uncle Amir, I would be so proud to have even the faultiest ones, but then how would the existence of bad genes be possible in our kind? I mean your kind sir. :)

Goodbye my great, generous, loving Uncle Amir. You will live on in my memories forever.

We are so grateful for wonderful memories of Amir. His always welcoming and energetic  Spirit will remain a part of our lives.

My Dear Uncle Amir,
As your name “Amir” implies, you were born to be a king. No wonder you carried all the king qualities along.  I am sure if I just name a few of the adjectives about you, they will resonate deeply with everyone who knows you.
You are remembered as a man with integrity, courage, generosity, kindness, stubbornness, relentlessness.  A man who is daring, competitive, self-made, and talented in anything you touch.
Your legacy will remember you as a true gentleman, a father, and a grandfather that is deeply loved by all.  You are a man of good taste, meticulous, handsome, and well dressed.  Most important of these qualities is what you did for others.  You reached out and helped me as I left our home country on my 18 month journey to US.  And when I finally arrived, you treated me no different than Ali and you and Aunt Farideh gave me all the support and love I needed to stand on my own feet for the years I went to college.  I am a proud person because of you!  We will celebrate your legacy for ages to come by remembering all your good deeds.
Aunt Farideh, the angel, will be protected by all the loved ones that surround her.  Ali and Golie, my brother and sister, will carry the torch and keep your flame ablaze.
Amir - the king, what a blessing to be surrounded by your loved ones throughout your life and ALL THE WAY to your final moments:  Farideh, Golie, Ali, Mandi, Giana, Lucia, Mike, Mara, Jonathan, Leyah, and David just to name a few.
Let us all celebrate the king's legacy and tell the world about the magnificent king qualities he carried and enriched others with.

I have so many happy memories of the time I spent at your home. As an impetuous teen dashing in and out on adventures with Golie. As a college student "home" for the weekends, and later-and sadly less frequently-as an adult on occasional visits. The constant through it all was the love and warmth I always received in your parents presence. I will always remember his fatherly lectures, kind advice and the anecdotes laced in the wisdom of his experiences. He was an amazing man and a wonderful father.

All of you, as well as everyone else he welcomed into the bosom of his family, are in my prayers for strength and peace. I know he continues to watch over all of you with love and pride.

Golie and Family. I am so sorry for your lose. I remember every time he came to Kristy Court He would not leave with out hugging his precious Golie. He was such a nice and caring man. He now is Home and free as God called him home so that he would be whole again. Hold tight the memories and love you shared and know he will forever be right there with you. I love you and will keep your Family in my thoughts .

Dear Ghoreishi Family,  My name is Steven Johnson and I waited on General Ghoreishi many, many times at the counter at the Main Post Office in  Williamsburg.
