Anne Marie Lawrence

Anne Marie Lawrence, 54 years old, devoted mother, loving wife, beloved sister, faithful friend, and cherished educator, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 1, 2021. Anne Marie is survived by her husband of 32 years, Robert Marshall Lawrence, LT Retired USN and their two daughters, Melissa Kate Lawrence and her husband Lewis Taylor Brooks, Kimberly Marie Lawrence and Jonathan Sperlazza. She is also survived by her sisters, Rita, Regina, Patrice, Kathleen, Christine and her brother Eugene (Buzz) as well as their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition, she leaves her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Michelle, Edwin, Gary, Emily and Britney. She was predeceased by her mother, Rita Anne Coddington and father, Eugene Patrick Coddington. Anne Marie was born in Binghamton, NY on August 11, 1966. She attended Broome Community College and became an assistant teacher at DECC in Newport News, VA. She fostered each child’s development and cherished their ability to grow and love. On March 11, 1989 she married the love of her life, Robert Marshall Lawrence and began her life as a dedicated naval wife. She became a mother to her two beautiful daughters, Melissa Kate and Kimberly Marie and could not have been more proud of their accomplishments and the women they became. Her favorite pastime was traveling with family. Anne was an ultimate hostess as she always opened her home to family and friends. She had an extraordinary talent at making things beautiful as her passion for painting flourished. She was an anchor for her family and friends near and far as she brought people together in a spirit of joy. She had a servant’s heart and a deep abiding faith. Service and burial information is TBA.
